Meet Dr. Hogan
Dr. Hogan joined Southwest Oral and Facial Surgery in August 1987 after completing his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Dallas, Texas at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and Parkland Memorial Hospital. Dr. Hogan is a native of Arkansas, where he received his undergraduate degree from Hendrix College before attending Baylor College of Dentistry. In addition to his residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Hogan also completed a residency in Anesthesiology at Parkland Hospital.
Dr. Hogan is a past President of the Lee County Dental Society, the Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Florida Society of Dental Anesthesiology. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and the American College of Dentists.
Dr. Hogan’s current clinical practice encompasses the full range of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, from basic extractions to wisdom teeth, dental implants, soft tissue pathology, and facial reconstructive surgery. Dr. Hogan is also very active in providing care to patients with facial trauma, including a broad range of facial fractures and soft tissue injuries, through the Lee Memorial Health System Trauma Program. In addition, Dr. Hogan donates his time to the CMS Cleft Lip & Palate Team of Lee County, Florida Donated Dental Services, Dental Lifeline Network, and the Ruth Paz Foundation in Honduras.
