Meet Dr. Brasileiro
Dr. Brasileiro is originally from Brazil, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery as well as his Masters and PhD degrees in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Brazil while concurrently completing his 4-year OMFS Residency training. Prior to moving to the U.S. to further expand his training, Dr. Brasileiro treated patients in his own private oral and maxillofacial surgery practice for 12 years. In addition to his clinical practice, he held the position of Associate Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the College of Dentistry Doctoral Program in Aracaju, Brazil.
Dr. Brasileiro is a candidate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Additionally, he is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Brasileiro is passionate about the OMFS specialty and patient care, as exhibited by his dedication to pursue further training in the U.S., including a 1-year Fellowship in Orthognathic Surgery and 2-year General Practice Residency at the University of Kentucky, followed by a 1-year Fellowship in Facial Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Mississippi.
Dr. Brasileiro will be able to successfully meet all of the oral surgery needs within our community, providing exceptional care to our patients in a timely manner. His full scope clinical practice encompasses basic teeth extractions, wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, soft tissue pathology, TMJ surgery, trauma, bone grafting, all-on-4 surgery, and general anesthesia, with special interest and training in facial cosmetic surgery and reconstructive jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery).
Dr. Brasileiro is available to treat patients five days a week and he is actively accepting new patients. We are confident that you will appreciate his expertise and compassionate approach to patient care.
