Meet Dr. Streater

Dr Mark Streater, Oral Surgeon SW FLDr. Mark Streater joined Southwest Florida Oral and Facial Surgery in September 1990, after completing his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at Texas Southwest Medical School and Parkland Memorial Hospital.  Dr. Streater is originally from Missouri, where he earned his undergraduate degree from Westminster College before attending Baylor College of Dentistry.

Dr. Streater is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is past President of the Lee County Dental Society and is actively involved in the West Coast and Florida Dental Associations. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Streater’s current clinical practice encompasses the full range of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery including extractions, wisdom teeth, dental implants, soft tissue pathology, and reconstructive jaw surgery.  In addition, Dr. Streater specializes in TMJ surgery and is active in providing care to patients with facial trauma, including a broad range of facial fractures and soft tissue injuries, through the Lee Memorial Health System Trauma Program.  Dr. Streater also donates his time to patients who benefit from the not-for-profit organizations Dentistry from the Heart and We Care of Lee County.
